Need proof that the world craves simpler, more meaningful living? How’s this for compelling evidence:
Marie Kondo’s book “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing” remains a bestseller with more than six million copies sold worldwide. The book has nearly 100,000 reviews on Goodreads with four stars. And, Kondo’s consulting business that helps clients “transform their cluttered homes into spaces of serenity and inspiration” has a three-month waiting list.
While we don’t necessary subscribe verbatim to Kondo’s system, we absolutely agree with her guiding principle – create a living space that sparks joy. Our motto is “live light.” In other words, surround yourself with the things you love in the space you need.
Luminato condos are designed with this principle in mind. The philosophy behind urban living is to have all the necessary space to live a joyful, comfortable, and convenient lifestyle without paying for more space than you need. It is a way to “live large” in a smaller space.
We put extraordinary thought into our home designs. For starters, we think about space in terms of volume – cubic feet, not square feet. Our raised ceilings create a welcome sense of space and light. We break away from traditional design by creating uninterrupted ceilings and rooms that flow from one to the other. Perhaps our favorite feature is our signature raised platform rooms that offer open views and privacy at the same time – not to mention a large storage space underneath.
During a time when consumerism and living in abundance is at an all time high, there is something calming and centering abut simplifying. Our hope is to provide Luminato residents with not only a beautiful and thoughtful living space but also a new sense of being and peaceful mindset. Live light.
